I really liked my Gen 9 Si. I know people didn't like it because it it didn't "rev as high" as previous Si's but the larger displacement 2.4l NA engine was torque'r and accelerated around town much better.This just happened at the mall today...good times!
I liked the long swooping windshield too on the 9! However, the gen X is just a much better car overall tho. Better chassis, better build quality, etc.
