whether that was the right place to submit a mechanical question, i'm unsure, but beyond forums and dealerships, i'll throw out the bait into any lake with fish and see what i reel in.

Do you guys here the sound at all times or only when the car is cold?

Mine seems to go away after driving the car for about 10 minutes.

Same here. I seems like is coming from passages side of the engine. It does go away after warm up.

I started my car and I had it idle for good 15-20 minutes and the sound was still there when I started driving. This would mean that the sound goes away after the car is driven for few miles not and because it is warmed up.
Also, I'm starting to think that this is related to some bearing.

I have had the same issue y'all have since I received my ctr last June. To me it sounds like a bearing from an idler pulley. Mine has not gotten any worse or better.

Got my answer this morning. We ran the car on a rack at a Honda dealer where my buddy is a service advisor. Sound comes from inside of the wastegate (confirmed with the stethoscope). According to their Master Tech all Honda Turbos sound like that....or in his exact words they sound like shit..

This is what I was thinking it was... Glad you got it figured out for yours, and that it's nothing major.

Thank you for doing the leg work. I don’t like the answer, but it is what it is.
