I also notice the same noise. 2018 CTR - mileage: 3750.I have the same noise on my 2018 fk8 with 310 Miles.. The noise came today.
I started my car and I had it idle for good 15-20 minutes and the sound was still there when I started driving. This would mean that the sound goes away after the car is driven for few miles not and because it is warmed up.Same here. I seems like is coming from passages side of the engine. It does go away after warm up.
It does sound like bearings.I started my car and I had it idle for good 15-20 minutes and the sound was still there when I started driving. This would mean that the sound goes away after the car is driven for few miles not and because it is warmed up.
Also, I'm starting to think that this is related to some bearing
This is what I was thinking it was... Glad you got it figured out for yours, and that it's nothing major.Got my answer this morning. We ran the car on a rack at a Honda dealer where my buddy is a service advisor. Sound comes from inside of the wastegate (confirmed with the stethoscope). According to their Master Tech all Honda Turbos sound like that....or in his exact words they sound like shit..
