Use the 93 octane calibration (no intercooler). The 91 to 93 octane difference is more than the changes for the intercooler.

Cool thanks, will do... my local tuner here in Tampa, FL is LHT Performance (John). Is there any meat left on the bone on top of the 93 calibration where it'd be worth while to have him work his pro-tune magic? The only changes to the vehicle are a K&N drop in and a PRL Intercooler.

Also, have you guys seen anything worth while by also adding a downpipe?

Thanks again,
Steve

You may or may not get gains from further dyno tuning. We tune each calibration the best we can, so nothing is deliberately de-tuned.
We do have tests of downpipe only vs stock but the weather conditions were different for each dyno and the results were inconclusive.

Question for Hondadata ....

So I’ve got ECU back and I’m getting tuned as we speak. Only mod is Mishimoto intake. I run 94 octane. Am I flashing with 93 base map and down pipe or just 93 base map??? Shop said with downpipe but I have intake not downpipe Thanks in advance.

Hondata,

Is my 93 calibration active in all 3 drive modes? Comfort/Sport/+R?

Thanks,
Steve

Should be. We aren't going to change gas every time we switch modes. Although the torque levels aren't as high as the next mode up.

Well, 93 octane is all we use here in Florida anyway... just wondering if the Hondata reflash effects all 3 drive modes or if it's only active in +R mode?
Thanks.

Watched the live stream yesterday briefly, saw that there is an 100 octane fuel tune. Is this coming soon?

@Hondata , are there knock sensors you can monitor via the FlashPro app? If so, can you provide a brief explanation on how to read the knock sensors?

By 'FlashPro App' I''m not sure if you mean FlashProManager or the mobile app. In any case, the best thing to do is to monitor the knock retard using FlashProManager.
It is normal to get up to 2 degrees of retard on a couple of cylinders during a dyno pull, especially on low octane fuel. Anything more and we look at reducing the air charge or retarding the timing, assuming the dyno setup (cooling mainly) is ok. When driving you typically get less knock and therefore less knock retard, but especially over 5500 rpm some knock retard is not unusual.
