Congrats on the new child! Even though you had to trade it in, you're thinking family first, which is very commendable. Enjoy the Pilot, its a great car.

Have to say I don't think I could've made that decision and I applaud you for that. Even though we say things like, I'll never sell this car (I know i have with my previous car), I hope that if I'm ever faced with that same crossroads, I can make the mature and correct choice. Like you said, you are blessed, congratulations!

So crazy addition to selling my CTR. 2 weeks ago I was rear ended in my Pilot by a teenager in a Camry. Her car was totaled and my Pilot has about 9k worth of Damage on it.

I had my 2 youngest kids with me and no one was hurt. If I was driving my Type R my kids would have been seriously hurt or worse.

I do miss my Type R but I am so happy I bought my Pilot. My kids are healthy and suffered no injuries.

Excellent family choice all around. Had a hard look at trading in the 08 MDX on a Pilot. Impressive family buggy. Cudo's for making the right choice for the family.
