I don't know, I like the improved functionality, but prefer the piano black color that matches the headunit. . . . hmmm.

If you swap over to this can you still use dual climate control by touch screen... I’m sure we all have significant others who are “too cold!!! or OMG I’m sweating!!” Next to us often enough...

Some of us drive in winter for 6 months of the year. Need defrost always, Auto shoots the heat out the front vents, not window
There's a button for that!

You had me, until you said I lose the dual zone! :(

Seems good to have in the trunk if the infotainment unit goes out, you can still use the AC.

I wonder if a different market has this with dual zone.

Just changed this out and I feel it's 100% better. I'm not a huge fan of all the piano black everywhere in the car and never used dual zone. Perfection!

I bet the cheapest climate control on eBay is $50 now that everyone bought out the $20-40 ones.

The one I bought was 57? I'm sure you can wait out for cheaper ones, but a few of the cheaper ones looked more worn down. I was ok to pay extra for this sooner than later as I'd get immediate benefit now rather than be annoyed with the Climate button.

I like the one that they offer with the separate screen for the climate control but I would need one that could do the heated mirrors and have heated seat switches

For those in Canada - I installed the US part, and the display on climate control does automatically show in Celsius when installed.

I haven't tested if the heated mirrors still activate with the rear-defroster button.

Feel like this is a subtle brag... "we get heated mirrors and you don't" ;);)

No seat heater buttons is a no go for my Si

Just tried this mod with this climate control unit, and it's a no-go...unless I got a dud unit but the passenger airbag lights up so I'm guessing this particular model is incompatible. Damn...

EDIT: disconnected the battery and reset the ECU - IT WORKS NOW!

EDIT 2: I was able to get my unit down to $39 on eBay by 'making an offer'...not a smoking deal but it was good enough for me.
