Questions for those who have fitted the NSX front wheels to their type R's:

Do the Civic Type R lug nuts have the correct taper for the NSX wheels (that is, do they have a taper identical to the NSX mounting studs)? If not, what lug nuts did you use?

Where did you purchase the Honda logo center caps?

Thanks in advance.

The Civic Type r lug nuts are a ball seat which is the same as the nsx wheel bolt which also has a ball seat. They match up.
Center caps: Ctrmofo can chime in. I believe he purchased CRV centercaps. Of course the CTR centercaps do fit if you are ok with the color.

Thanks for the confirmation regarding proper fit between the Civic Type R lug nuts and the NSX wheels. That's important info.

Do the CRV center caps match the NSX wheel color? If not, it might be feasible to purchase Honda center caps for the NSX wheels, as the NSX is a Honda outside the North America.

Correct as stated by HRace. CTR and NSX and all Honda wheels are ball seats, so yes CTR stock ugly chrome nuts fit on NSX and vv. I chose NOT to use stock CTR nuts because they’re chrome and ugly. You have 2 choices:

1) Import OEM black Honda ball seat nuts only available from UK for over $150 USD by time it gets here which is stupid to pay for nuts, or

2) Do what I did and get ball to conical/60 deg tapered nut adapters and use any aftermarket nuts with conical seats...all for $60. I posted this earlier in this thread.

I got the dark grey H center caps for CRV wheels ($29 for set of 4 on eBay) and made my own red H. The grey doesn’t match perfectly but close enough I’m not losing sleep over. I just don’t like black caps on grey wheels is all.

Or you can go the route you said, get H caps for NSX wheels from UK or something but keep in mind you’ll pay a lot and decide if worth it or not.

Update: Sorry...post is here https://www.civicx.com/threads/civic-type-r-after-market-wheel-guide.13994/page-56#post-390530

Angela,
Your center caps look like a perfect match to the rim color. Nice work!
Did you paint them or are they stock black? Hard to tell from pic

I believe they’re OEM caps from stock CTR wheels..

So, 265/35 is what most people are running for DS autocross? Maybe reverse-staggered if a bit more competitive? I haven't autocrossed the car yet, our season starts next weekend, so not sure how bad the understeer is. What tire pressures are a good starting point?

I’ll let you know after tomorrow. My first event was 38 and raining so I didn’t get a good idea of what really works.

So this weekend was a huge success. My codriver who is much better than I am took top pax, there was people from all of our surrounding region who came to play. I placed around 10th pax out of 70 ish people. We had tires set at around 41 front 37 rear. But we also have the Karcepts rear bar which makes this car dance.

Nice!!! They look pretty good. Nice to have a low cost track or daily option finally that’s getting closer to stock. FYI for others: 21.6 pounds per wheel. Not too shabby all around.
TireRack subsequently changed the advertised weight to 22.4 lbs. Mine actually weigh 23.1 lbs. (It has been my experience that advertised weights are a bit light; these are no exception.)
