Um, Honda is the one who sets the pricing... if dealers are marking it up beyond that, it's usually only by 5-10%. Don't get angry at your dealer simply for retailing a product.

I think he is asking how you are going to get the heating elements in your CTR seats (to connect to the climate control module). CTR seats do not have heating elements and, as I understand it, heating Alcantara seats is not necessarily a good idea. I believe that's why that poster was asking if you are going to swap out the seats (which, of course, makes no sense to me, but I can't deny the merits of the toasty buns).

Ah, as I re-read that, that makes sense. Allow me to elaborate.
Type R seats + aftermarket heating elements. Heating alcantara is fine, assuming that's what it is ("Suede-Effect Fabric" as Honda calls it).
Mirror swap for heated mirrors (unless I figure out a better way to do it).
Climate control swap.
Witchcraft, used to get the climate head/control unit to recognize that the car has heated seats/mirrors.

Ugh this is very tempting. I too dont use Dual at all (i think it defeats the purpose of climate control when you sit in such close proximity to each other anyway). I really dont like having to press 2 buttons with some waiting thrown in to turn off teh A/C when i want to dry out the system.

Some of us drive in winter for 6 months of the year. Need defrost always, Auto shoots the heat out the front vents, not window
