Civic Type R FK8 Aluminum Rear Diffuser

Hey, this company is building a few aero parts and have just completed their prototype rear diffuser.

They are requesting feedback! Post on their Instagram below.

would be nice if thet show a full rear picture and not angled.

kinda hard to give feedback when all they post is a photo from the side like that and not from all angles ...

Hopefully, carbon fiber is in the works too.

Would like to see if the design is proven (aka wind tunnel testing) to be effective. Otherwise it's just another show piece....

I asked them on their Instagram if it’s actually functional. I’ll post here their reply if I get one.

note: if this does work and added enough downforce, then the big wing can be deleted now, otherwise, drag might go up ?

They replied and said it reduces drag. They will be wind tunnel testing soon.

Got another angle photo. I'll take shots myself tomorrow.

The thin metal kind of clashes with the rest of the doodads on the car, but if there's a performance benefit...

hopefully this will fit my j's racing exhaust i'm getting. I doubt it though since they're 4.5" tips

I wouldn't hold your breathe on that one, doubt they have the budget to do it.

I was thinking the same thing, this is more for looks , imo,. I don’t think the money is there for wind tunnel testing . I could be wrong but I rather have it for functionality purposes

looks wise, i don't think it goes well w/ the body lines. I'm also curious on the functionality of it. The car is already designed w/ a rear diffuser. It's like a diffuser on top of a diffuser? similar to a wing on top of a wing? lol
