Hey Guys,

Just wanted to give you a heads up, there's a lot of orders we're working through to get processed. Not to worry if you haven't received any notification yet, it's coming! We're hoping to have all of these orders processed by early next week!

Also, I wanted to give you guys a little extra scoop to keep your eyes peeled for some new threads on some more CTR goodies we've been cooking up ;)

-Nick
i ordered 1.5 weeks ago. no updates and no reply to emails. i've been playing with cars for 36 yrs and seen a lot.

in today's world of amazon prime 2 day or next day shipment, realize you need to be responsive to customer inquiries. ignoring customer emails for whatever reason is inexcusable - especially when cc's have been billed.

i understand fully being a small business/manufacturer...trust me if you know what i do for a living. at minimum acknowledge you've received my email inquiry with a simply reply. it's etiquette and customer service. we as customers are busy too and don't have time to chase down a supplier.

thanks

I understand your frustration, but I ordered Jan 29th. I have yet to receive anything. I assume from Nick’s earlier responses, they are getting bombed with emails and messages. I’m sure once they take care of a good portion of the orders, they will do their best to reach out to the remaining orders. Hopefully you and I just receive confirmation shipping emails.
Been waiting this long, few more days won’t hurt...

Can see everyone frustrations since everyone has high anticipation of this intake. But you can't compare amazon prime 2 day or next day shipment to a smaller company. They are probably getting slammed with emails asking for updates on the intake while also taking care of customers for other items. You have to keep in mind you preordered a product that was still in development and production had to get tooled properly for good quality.

Whoa whoa you guys need to stop making excuses for vendors. How long have you been in this auto aftermarket industry? Here’s the deal. I don’t care high anticipation or zero anticipication or if the latest things since slice bread. Then do NOT pre-charge people’s credit cards. That’s an unacceptable business practice. It’s leveraging people’s funds. I don’t give a shit about production process etc. I know damn well the supply chain of auto aftermarket.

If it’s too early to manufacture, package and deliver then set proper expectations and proper launch. This hype crap is ridiculous for product releases. I’ve tried to change this industry about 36 yrs ago and much has changed and much remains the same.

I ask a simple request - at least acknowledge or reply to my email twice. Not much to ask. If that can’t be delivered, I question ability to deliever a product.

Set proper expectations or reset it. I hold all vendors and suppliers of all my businesses accountable. I expect the same as a consumer. Simple...

I totally agree I love the intake and I love the effort they put to make it great. I ordered end of January with a local distributor in Canada and haven't heard anything yet. I've paid and everything has been deducted. One would think that a pre order would mean it would all be ready for launch. Kinda sucks

I don't know about you cc being charged, I ordered on March 6 and my card has not been charged. Also, I was able to reach Mishi by phone and I was informed of the status of my product. All things being equal I think they have been very responsive and so far they have been on or close to the expectations they set. Case and point shipments did begin when they indicated they would.
So when you jump on the bandwagon late you have to wait.
Now if your cc was charged, why don't you do what any reasonable disgruntled customer would do...call and complain, rather than air your misled 36 yr ideology of how customer service and supply chain should work on the R&D forum. People have been waiting way longer than you have... my 2 cents.

nevermind. you missed the point completely...partly reason why i got out of the industry. learn to understand what "expectations setting is" vs setting it so low anyone can jump over.

i'm done

i said i'm done. no more lecturing here. you're taking it in the wrong direction.

purpose of a forum is to give vendor feedback on performance and customer service.

I also had some issues with my order and I ordered on Jan 29th. I got an email stating my card was declined. My card was charged after I contacted them to update my payment info the day before. Today is Saturday . So just wait until Monday when they are in the office and see what they can do for you. They should of started the pre-sale at a later date closer to being released. That is to avoid the credit card info 30 day wipe from their system.

lol... the vendor has been answering CC checks on the forum post. That seems like a lot of work IMO... I’m used to pre-ordering things and putting either the entire amount down or partial without receiving the product for ages.

That’s what a pre-order is... holding your spot to possibly get the item before release or right at release.

Fudge it. It’s a few days everyone. We’ll get the item in due time :D

Mishimoto intake isn’t that expensive... I don’t expect 24/7 service... now if I bought an intake for a grand or so like many vehicles that would be a different story.

Waiting a couple of more days is easy. What I am more concerned about in my case is my order getting lost or mixed up. After that I have to deal with porch pirates taking my stuff. :ninja::bat:

I agree @bobafettm with all of what you said. And plus, @Mishimoto has been an amazing company to deal with. Their transparency alone makes it worth it for me.
