Thanks! But my concern right now is that i havean aftermarket wheels 18x8.5 idk what if once i dropped it, it will rub because of the rim size
I do believe 18x8 is stock si. Now what you should check is the offset clearance. I read somewhere +35-40 is the flush with fender look with no rubbing. Now don’t quote me on this but from my own research because I want to slap on rims too I think 18x8.5 fits with no issue. http://www.civicx.com/threads/wheel-offset.21867/

If you have an 18x8.5 +35 wheel and choose a 235x40 tire.....it will rub slightly whether it is lowered or not if you hit some decent bumps. The point of contact is the screw/tab area just aft of the front side markers. This happens with Bf Goodrich Comp 2 AS tires on my car. There are some tires that run wider and some that run narrower. Now, after lowering (and maximizing my front camber with adjustable ball joints and removing the upper shock tower alignment bolt) the rubbing was significantly worse during mild bumps on the road. I removed the two tab screws and had that area rolled for clearance. Now I'm all good to go. I see some of these guys running more aggressive setups and say they don't rub.....bullshit. I'm all about function and personally won't run a setup that rubs. Others are okay with occasional rubbing. YMMV

Damn that’s why i’m hesitant on droping my car, for sure my front will rub, because of 18x8.5 +35 with 235/40, i’m planing to have the eibach prokit

After lowering your cars with the Prokit are the rear cambers necessary? I dont mind a little camber but if the camber is too much I would consider putting them on. Thanks in advance.

I a noob at this, but I did it because it’s the right way to do it and I want my tires to wear evenly. Plus not a fan of the camber look

Installed the Pro Line, wish I went with something else. I didn't want to scrape but these barely lowered it 1/2" from and back. Maybe they will settle a little lower.

I have a little over a week and I’ve noticed settling, I called techs and even asked the shop where I lowered and they said give it about a 3 week period. Then after that we will know if we should of went lower I too feel that at times
