Only other way is to use the mechanical key in the lock cylinder. Twist momentarily to lock. Then twist again and hold. It isn't possible from the remote.
Very poorly thought out... If you roll down windows from fob you should be able to close from fob.

Would like to disable this...

I suspect the thinking was that you should be in sight of the person whose fingers are getting crushed when you run the windows up. It's been this way in Hondas since at least our '95 Integra GS-R. Maybe even our '88 Accord LXi.

I didn't know about this option and yesterday I came outside to find all my windows down in the pouring rain. My entire car was soaked and today it is still wet. I was never notified of this option and my keys were in my purse when this must of happened. I called Honda and there is no way of turning this feature off. My car could have gotten robbed and I honestly think this feature is HORRIBLE. If it is hot turn the AC on.... I'm still upset about it.

You aren't the only one. I only remember these threads because I posted in one :) There are more than this but...

Old thread but screw it...

I disabled mine by ripping the unlock button out of the remote. Since I think that's what shuts up the panic, I ripped the panic button out too.

This isn't a FOB problem. I thought so at first but make sure to leave it out on the dresser at night. Common denominator is rain or snow and a low incidence rate, but my 2017 hatch has done this st least 6 times in heavy rain. Brought it to dealer and they pretend to try to fix left it out in rain etc. but even if it did happen I asked what was their plan to diagnose, blank stares. I think we need to organize. I'm finding many complaints for Honda cars doing this not just the Civic

I was at the Honda dealer for a different problem and was shocked to see all four car windows and moon roof half way open. This will happen if you hold the unlock button on the fob long enough, so something in my pants pocket must have caused this. Is there anything I can do to have this function disabled?
Apparently with the new Civics, there is a way to disable this feature
