How are you guys doing this already without Flashpro being released yet?
Flashpro for the 10th gen has been around for quite a while. These guys don't have a Type R. :)

Yeah sorry, realized this was Type R thread after, BUT it’s the same headunit, mine is a Sport Touring.

Does the FlashPro need to always be plugged in to the car for the app to work?

Yes, but in theory the app could possibly have access to OBD parameters, so maybe in the future it will be able to read some directly without the FlashPro plugged in.

Other than finding a place to put it, is there any reason not to leave the flashpro connected? Does it drain the battery while the car is off or something?

The FlashPro goes into sleep mode with the ignition off. It uses some power, but when we calculated the difference it means that your battery will last 5 weeks rather than 6 weeks if you don't drive the car (from memory).

Will this require the use of a Windows laptop?

I have a MAC currently, and the tuner that did the flash had PC obviously but since I did not do the Head unit hack when I was with him, am I out of luck now that I'm home without a windows?

Has anyone noticed the MPG shown is waaaay off or is that just my luck. I am seeing numbers that make sense followed by numbers in the thousands

You can change the dead times and injector size, but the MPG is still not that accurate with the direct injection as the fuel pressure varies.

Hey @Hondata how can we change and customize what three gauges we see at the top as I have rpm and speed that I’d like to replace with IAT AND ECT? Thanks!

Plug in, run the cable to the driver's door, and leave it in the door pocket, take up the cable slack, place into the pocket. Just remember to unplug before opening the door.
