Congrats! i like your laptop from the 90's very retro. Jk!! But in all seriousness I'm laughing at the fact you didn't block the ECU info in the first picture but you did on the last. :p:D
Lol I forgot.. my laptop is a throw back , but it’s a beast on the insides.. so far everything is going great.. there are lots of maps to choose froM . I think I’ll start with the 93 improved throttle map..

Man I can't wait to get this.

Looking forward to picking up the whole setup. Cloned ECU and all.

Let’s me just start off by thanking Hondata. This new map is absolutely great , the throttle is so smooth now. 1st & 2nd , the torque tables have been lowered, personally I like it. 1st & 2nd didn’t feel uncontrollable or like I was going to spin. Just very smooth acceleration, I looked down once & saw around 17-18 psi in first & second. Now 3rd , holy crap 3rd pulls so hard I thought I was in second gear for a moment. 3rd , 4th & 5th pull very hard , all the way to redline. The boost doesn’t fluctuate, it’s rock solid now. I hopped on the interstate, did a small pull & noticed about 25-26 psi. The car was a blast to drive before , but now I’m just looking for excuses to go drive it. This is gunna be a fun journey adding modification, then being able to tune for them. Also I really like that @Hondata included lots of maps for when I start adding bolts on’s... I give this a A+++. If your on the fence about ordering this , go ahead & pull the trigger , you won’t regret it. Cheers

@Hondata isn't the odometer tied into the ECU? If I were to purchase a cloned ECU, would the process of swapping back and forth between ECUs cause either of them to go out sync with the actual odometer mileage?

Secondly, on another forum there is a member implying that at least 3 Type R owners who have used tunes have already bent rods in their engines from too much torque (approx 400ft/lb). Can you comment on the strength of the motor and if your 91/93 octane tunes are safe?

Hmmm could you explain how to do this a little further.. p0299 error ? I didn’t get a error
P0299 is an underboost error. You get if when the actual boost is lower than the target boost. One customer got this error and it is easier to disable the error than go through the throttle tables to match the requested torque with what the turbo can output at a given point.

Odometer is stored in the cluster.

I saw the damage being attributed to FlashPro reflashes at a point that no FK8 FlashPros were in customers hands, so your guess is as good as mine as to the accuracy. Hopefully people would step forward with concrete facts to help the community out.

Quick update, my friend copied over the tourqe table from 3rd gear to first and second and holy cow will that put a smile on your face .Like hondata previously mentioned, it is way to much power and you get wheel spin through second gear but it sure is fun!

Can you give a link to this forum with the claims of bent rods?
I’ve personally heard of one Type R with bent/broken rods due to a tune, it was on a full stand-alone with custom tuning...

Thanks hondata . That makes sense. I’ve had no issues, but I’ll keep my eye on updates. Or if that does happen I’ll knkw how to handle it. It runs like a beast now

That is quite strange to hear...especially since Flashpro hasn't been out but under a week...and johny honda has been going at it on the track without any issues like that.

The only thing I've seen was johny honda commenting on heat being an issue, but that was the case even with factor CTRs on the track.

I agree with all of this , it’s been tested by multiple people. I haven’t heard 1 word of any ctr’s Failing. But I’m all ears
