Why is it Hondata ball on the court? It's not even their car.
Just a couple of weeks ago Ososik with Hondata just lowered the 1/4 mile record. Now Emmanual with Vitviper and Ktuner responded and did it. Now it is Hondata's turn again.

Nice run!! Look at that trap speed!

Can't wait to see the mod list. Perhaps with Vit's turbo upgrade before he stopped offering them??

2 guys with 11 sec Si’s but it’s a Hondata/ktuner battle... im pretty sure neither of those companies own these cars. This forum is kind of ridiculous with the way people suck themselves off because of what tuner they bought/sell lol.

Very nice!

Without track prep are these really 12-12.5 sec. cars on the street?

Perhaps. Though, in the spirit of the challenge... would it be an act of 'desperation' to use a turbo that isn't being offered as an upgrade path currently to promote a car promoting their tuning prowess...?

If it's not something we can get... now and possibly ever... it's seem to not be terribly relevant to the consumer, though still a great showcase for the platform.

PRL isn't part of their hash... taggin'...(?)... so I assume it's not theirs. I don't know. I'd be interested in details.

I mainly got Ktuner because the V2 had a screen and seemed like a good stand alone for reflashing and getting some data... so far as not having to bring a laptop in the car. I think Hondata took the consumer feedback that was bouncing around the website that the good folks at Ktuner we're much more communicative. Compared to their own forums at the Ktuner site, they're practically chatty here. Hondata has come on pretty well... coming out with the type R reflash first as I recall and advertising another revision on another thread... they've got scramble boost which, while it might be sort of moot from the tiny stock turbo... it is a pretty cool feature by enabling it from your steering wheel controls for brief over boost periods. I mean... between some of the other things that are likely detrimental long term (ie anti-lag) it's something I'd love to see Ktuner implement because I'd actually enable it and mess around.

In other news... why is it ever holiday where there's supposed to be some big, badass meal, it always has to happen way later than normal?! I think I might be eating lunch at 3 at this rate... or going out for a hamburger.

Would be ironic wouldn't it.

Yeah, family Easter event? Those tend to be slow developing. Count me as one of the people that's not shy to be the first in line to fill my plate. I don't like feeling hungry, makes me hangry.

No desperation involved, on either side, from what I can tell. With all of the back and forth that's been going on between supporters of both tuning softwares, it seems some healthy competition has sprung from it. It's not our car personally, but it is certainly nice to receive some credit for the work that's been put into this platform as a whole. Hope you guys are enjoying as much as we are. :)

Really glad you're enjoying the unit!

coming out with the type R reflash first as I recall
Small bit of confusion there, we released for the R over a month ago. They just did on Friday (30th).

That’s still enough to catch v8 mustang/Camara if owner is not paying attention
+1

I surprised and ran on a newer M5 last week. Came off the line in sport, he pulled just a little less than half a car ahead of me, I toggled scramble mode around 4000 rpm in first. Put two lengths on him from 0-50 before he did a flyby at probably 75. I was briskly reaching the posted speed limit. He was being a good for nothing hooligan! Felt like little mac landing a blow on Tyson.
