Does anyone have any idea how often dealerships get in new inventory?

It seems that the EX-T w/sensing can be very tricky to find in my desired color and I'm wondering if I should be patient or consider different trim levels.

Edit: I ended up getting impatient and just bought a Touring. It's wonderful!

About once a month, from my understanding. They can request inventory on customer orders twice a month, but I think they only get trucks once a month. You can always put an order in at a dealership, and if another dealer in the area is allocated one they will be able to get it for you (given that no one else orders before you). It could vary by area too.

As I detailed in other threads, allocations are every two months (from order to build). My store gets shipments almost every day, since there are different manufacturing plants for different vehicles, leading to a variety of manufacturing dates and arrivals.

In regards to vehicles with Honda Sensing, while all dealers received an initial shipment, it appears that going forward it will be more of a special order if you want a particular color.

For some reason many customers don't feel that all the extra safety is worth $1000, which is a steal when compared to what other manufacturers charge.

I think it's not necessarily that they don't feel the extra safety is worth the $1000. The way they priced that extra feature makes it seem like a luxury add-on and not just a necessity of safety.
