First rock chip, driver side...UGH. Safelite coming tomorrow to fix. I honestly feel like Honda skimpped on the build quality of these civics. I get paint chips so easily. Just normal driving.

Same. I bought my car in December 2016. Have 3 rock chips on hood and miscellaneous scratches on the clear coat. Also found a deep scuff/scratch on passenger side of trunk within the first week of owning it. Hand washed it and probably took the wax off they used to hide it at the dealership.

I want to be upset and I am, but I also understand that it’s a car and it’s only a $22k civic. In the end I really want the things that get me to and from places, like the engine and trans, to work consistently and without much maintenance. And to me, that’s why Honda is legendary in that catergory. It’s my negligence for not taking a much more detailed look at the car before jumping in it and leaving :banghead:

I agree. I have never seen paint chips so easy. Mine wasn't $22k. Add about $10k to that. For that amount of money, it shouldn't chip so easy.

Its that a winshield rock chip? You can fix it by using "rain x 600001"(windshield repair kit)

Careful when fixing it can crack the windshield more. I had a tiny chip from a rock, took it to get fixed by safelite, the chip grew by 1 1/2 inch. The next day...18in crack running horizontal, had to change the entire windshield. Good thing my insurance covered it. It would have been a $550 job for the windshield

Doing some preliminary work to install a LC6I LOC.
Here is one option, mounted to the panel beneath the blower on the passenger side.

Here's a rear shot of the car with the dual tips installed.

I wanted a gloss black rear diffuser to kind of match the colour of the front grill: https://www.ebay.com/itm/TURBO-R-St...user-for-16-Honda-Civic-10th-Gen/262947625735
Exhaust tips are Magnaflow 35226.

I wish there were better decklid spoiler options for the sedan.

Is the middle piece reflective or does it actually light up? unsure of getting this one or a matte style one without the center red piece. both look really nice
