Honda Civic 10th gen Traded in my Type R 0948A317-FD2A-4818-9B27-BF6D7EA3C84F
View attachment 88103 Well with our 6th kid on the way and some changes at work I traded in my Type R for a 2018 Honda Pilot Touring AWD.

I miss my R everyday but family comes first. Also picked up a 2018 Odyssey EX-L Nav/Res for my wife.

I will still be on the forum but just thought I’d share.

Thank you. It’s nice. Got the AWD since it can tow 5000 pounds. Looking at a bow rider boat

Have to say it was nice to deal again. Got the Pilot for $38,500 and the Odyssey for $35,900.

They are both extremely nice but no Type R.

When I bought my Type R I found out 2 weeks later my wife was pregnant with our 3rd son and 6th child. We are blessed.

I just need to be able to help my Wife more than have my dream car. Reality set in. I needed to be able to help if needed.

Props to getting a CTR in the driveway with 5 kids. The Pilots are nice, but as you said, no Type R. That's life for you though, at least you were able to enjoy it for a bit.

I was and loved it. My kids miss it too but now they love Daddy’s big white truck.

Dang, didn't think the 5 kids were enough to start a basketball team so y'all decided to add a bench player? :p

Damn, 6 kids? I'm surprised you can keep yours open let alone drive a manual. Props to you for putting family first.

Congratulations on your new addition. I've got 3 and an Odyssey and Civic both setup to take the whole family.

If we had a 4th... and there's no plans for that... as we're using the baby factory just as an amusement park these days... the Si would go. We always have 2 vehicles that can take the whole family.

My Z and soon to be old single cab F150 my mom is having me take that was my late father's are our fun/occasional use things. I drive the Odyssey probably 20x more than the Z. Same w/the Civic.

35k. Had 802 miles on it.
Wow, that's pretty amazing. I don't think I could sell mine for that high around here. Texas might have the perfect weather for sports cars but everybody buys SUVs and trucks.
