The first 5 miles (about) are done at the test track in Swindon. After that its intones guess. Don't let the dealer gas up your Type R. tell them you'll do it when you purchase the car and take it home this way one of those idiots in the video don't take it to get gas for you!

Yes thats done at the factory. He takes it directley from the end of the assembly line straight through a closed coarse track, and at the end of the track says pass or fail. He doesnt have access to take the car for a joy ride and max the revs out in every gear

The DEALER does the PDI. Not the factory.

PDI is the inspection dealers do after a car arrives on their lots.

Oh. Well that sucks lol

I'm glad I got to ride along when mine was PDI'd. And afterwards I took a picture of the odometer and let everyone know. Seems like an asshole move, but not as bad as a what the car could have been driven like after that.

I had 3 miles on my car during delivery. luckly this was the 4th or 5th R that they sold. Im pretty confident they did not molest my car like this. If this was Honda of Chantilly. I can attest they legitimately had they ADM at 15-20k for the LONGEST time. and this is how they treat the car too. fk that place! And Im almost certain the R feels nothing like a wrx. whats the camera man talkin bout.
