It is possible, but would involve some custom work. It won't just stick on there. However, you could also take off just the red Si part and potentially stick it on a flat part of the grille. I would experiment and see what looks best. If you find something that looks nice, post it up here!@procivic are you aware if it's possible to stick the stock Si emblem on the new grille?
Yeah, I figured it wouldn’t just stick on there. I still have a year or so before I can get my engineering degree and buy a new Civic, so I’ll be looking. If I find anything I’ll definitely be sure to post it!It is possible, but would involve some custom work. It won't just stick on there. $177.95 on procivic is already on sale lol don't expect too much lower than that. When will these be on sale
If you're referring to a possible fitment issue on the grille we sell, the design hasn't changed. For some reason there is variation (not due to trim level or body type) on the factory grille fitment on these 10th Gens...which means sometimes the grille we sell will not fit perfectly. We haven't seen this issue on our shop cars, but I have seen enough photos of a gap in the factory grille to convince me it's true.Have you resolved the fitment issue?
What color emblem is provided? We have a forum discount available which will help bring the price down a bit, just PM me. The $177.95 is already a pretty good deal for the whole package, especially considering you get a new genuine Honda emblem with it (you would have to purchase this separately since the factory 10th Gen emblem won't fit this grille).
It is chrome. It's not the red Type R one. What color emblem is provided?
Yes, it is glossly just like the Sport Hatchback and Coupe / Sedan Si grilles. Normally what customers like yourself will do is either paint the factory matte black bumper accents so they are glossy, OR Plasti Dip our grille so it's matte black (this is probably the easier of the two).@procivic is the grill glossy like in the pictures? I'm worries it wouldn't match the flat black of the lower grille and fog light "vents"
