I think you might be confused about the head unit and your phone. The radio/navi/head unit runs android and runs the Hondata Mobile android app. You phone doesn't need to install or run anything so does not need to change.

Nice, I hope the "skins" for the gauges will be customizable as well. This is a pretty cool integration of the head unit.

Very slick, you gotta love that nice large display on the factory head unit compared to using your phone.

I have personally been waiting for this solution for awhile. I feel like this is the ultimate way to display the virtual gauges and engine data.

Warning: this process alters your factory radio at a low level and has a risk of disabling your radio and may also affect your factory warranty options with the radio/navigation.
So the radio will still work while running the app? Just trying to clear up the wording. Don’t want to have to choose between music and gauges.

^This, was also on the fence between Ktuner and Hondata, this feature just might push me towards Hondata:yes:

I think Doug is saying do this "at your own risk". In other words if something gets messed up there's no guarantee Honda will fix it. Kinda the same thing if you root your phone and brick it.

Got it working! Don’t forget to update your flashpro or it won’t pop up!

Can you configure how you want everything setup on screen, like you can on your phone?

Yea I figured. More of a no liability on their part if something does go wrong. Just wanted to make sure, music + gauges = :drive:

Hondata has a leg up on this one. I don't think tunerview works on Android 4.2.2.
