Great to see GC getting in the game. Though I'm surprised they opted to do the same OTS rates between the CTR and Si.

General comments: Most performance lowering springs are probably closer to being two-step linear than truly progressive. It's a cheaper approach than leveraging a secondary helper spring to hold the main spring in position at full droop. How that translates here... consider using GC's taller linear spring if planning to drop the car more than an inch or so.

When you do the install I am interested to see how these look on the strut outside of the car. if possible. I am trying to understand how the shock fits through those small coil buckets. The way the photo looks it seems as if you will lose a few inches of shock travel.

I’m not sure that they have any OTS rates. They want you to either specify rates, or to consult with them to help decide.

That's too much money for adjustable springs, IMO, lol. It's way over priced due to them marketing it for the R and the Rs owner's deeper pockets.

They are priced in line with all of Ground Control's other coilover conversion plus camber plate options.

The camber plates themselves are being valued at several hundred dollars.

Received a quick response from Ground Control... Approximately +/- 2.0 degrees.
SPC has adjustable ball joints so combined could be up to -3 which should be perfect for my track set up.

$839 for adjustable springs .... talk about taking advantage of the market. For that amount of money spend the extra $120 and you can have a set of BC Racing coilovers when available.

But to each their own.

I am confident that BC Racing coilovers will not be compatible with the factory active damping system. Users can look forward to an error light on their dashboard, along with reduced functionality.

Ground Control has priced this coilover sleeve and camber plate kit in line with all of the models they have for other makes and models. For this reason I have to disagree they are taking advantage of the market.

You are absolutely right the BC Racing coilovers do not fit the Si model. Something custom has to be done, and you will have an error light on your dash. But I am sure companies out there are working on a solution to address the active damping system. But at the price point that Ground Control is offering this sleeve system at is extremely pricey, this would be a better option around the $400-$500 range. Just knowing that for $800 something dollars you can get a cheap coilover system or spend a little more and get a decent system. Again I know there is no option available for the Si, but still that is what the pricing around the market is going for.

To be honest I don't find this kit that expensive. Buying a cheaper kit just for "low" is a silly investment in my book. In that case get yourself hacksaw and cut your springs and call it a day.

We know GC to be proven on and off the track so having a quality product is worth the price. That being said, I do wish they would provide more details about the kit, specs and potential performance benefits beyond stock. As previously mentioned an installation or slalom course before and after.
