I know several members, including myself, have been waiting for this product. I gave Ground Control a call and learned that is was actually already available for purchase, just not listed the way we expected it to be. It turns out that the Type R kit that they recently released is completely interchangeable with the Si.

I believe that this is the only height adjustable coilover option on the market that allows you to maintain the factory active damper system. They will work fine with the HFP dampers as well if you happen to have them. Another great thing about this option is that you can specify your own spring rates based on your intended application. I spoke with GC in depth and chose spring rates of 425# front and 350# rear. They are linear springs, unlike the progressive springs you get from the factory or that you'd find in a spring kit such as the Eibach Pro Kit. Linear springs are going to allow the adjustable dampers to have more impact when you activate sport mode. Those springs rates may sound high, but they are only about 20% stiffer than stock, which comes in at less stiff than the OEM Type R springs. When comparing spring rates, remember that linear springs and progressive springs cannot be compared directly. (This is something I learned yesterday, that Donovan at Ground Control helped me with.)

They include camber plates for the front and I ordered a set of SPC rear camber arms for the rear. Shoutout to Donovan at Ground Control for answering all of my questions and Matt at @MAPerformance for making sure I had the best deal available.

I hope to have them installed within the next week or so. I will be sure to follow up with my impressions.

I would truly love for companies such as GC or Eibach that put out a product to accompany it with some installation videos. I feel like that type of content is just necessary nowadays and shows that the kit was indeed designed for said application.

Maybe we can talk Pro Civic into making one. I know they have some other install videos.
I was wondering what he got with the whole package including the rear camber arms... he also said he got the best deal available and I was just curious on what that was aswell ;)
MSRP is $839 plus shipping. I recommend contacting the vendor directly for a better deal.

In regards to the camber arms, they were added in for $164.26 shipped.

They are expensive compared to a cheap set of springs but you are getting a lot more. If you look at more developed platforms you will find that a quality set of coilovers will run into the several thousands of dollars. They will of course have more adjustability than these. These are probably not for everyone, but that gives you an insight into my thought process.

I understand your thought process. Those high end coilovers are charging so much for valving and adjustability in more than just height and dampening not for the springs themselves nor for the shock buckets that allow height adjustments. I could understand 600 maybe 700 because of the camber plates and bump stops. but 840 is steep considering. I am not condemning anyways decision to pay it... I just think they are capitalizing on the fact that they are the only ones in the game for coilover sleeves.

hmm, I may need to pick up a set. Did they tell you how much camber you can get out of the front with the plates?

They did not. I know on my sport hatch I maxed out at about -1.1 degrees within the factory available adjustment range and my Sportline springs. I will ask them though, that is a good question.

Received a quick response from Ground Control... Approximately +/- 2.0 degrees.
