The CARB version does not allow tuning of any parameters that can affect the emissions, like fuel and ignition. You can tune the boost levels though.

Glad you mentioned that. I think a lot of people don't realize you can still tune boost on the CARB Compliant versions. Pretty nice feature.

Do any of the Si base maps eliminate rev hang or do you have to do it manually?

Manually and make sure you get Race version. I changed the overrun fuel to 30ms as discussed in “help” and elsewhere in this forum. I know it has been debated elsewhere, but it makes a difference, at least for my untrained senses.

You're not going to see any big benefits from switching from one system to the other, unless you need emissions compliance for your situation (then you must get the FlashPro). Both systems are very good and give huge power gains on this platform.

If you have some specific questions about your FlashPro, feel free to PM me. I might be able to help you do whatever it is you want to accomplish.

Hey guys, I’m pretty new as well. I do have a question, i used to have the 2017 hatchback sport CVT. I traded it in for a 2018 Si.

1) I bought a flash pro for the hatch, can I use it for my Si?
2) I have an exhaust that I had custom made for the hatch, anyone know if it’ll fit in the Si? I ask the dealer and they said since the wheel base is the same, it shouldn’t be an issue. My only concern are the hangers.

I know the second is a bit off topic but if anyone can answer either, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Si utilities a different exhaust layout. Sedan is larger (assume you bought a 4dr).

As to #1, yes, the same FlashPro hardware works for all 1.5T applications. You will just run the Si calibrations in the software. No need for a new FlashPro though.
