The thing I noticed right away when installing is if the clamps are installed in the wrong orientation (nuts on the passenger side), they are a lot closer to the heat shield. I installed with the nuts on the driver side and physically pushed the exhaust around trying to force contact with the shields to make sure there was enough clearance.Well small update. Took my car out to run an errand and I can now hear a pretty large rattle coming from somewhere.
I’m going tomorrow morning to the shop that installed it so I can put it up on the lift and hopefully find what it is rattling.
I’m really, really hoping that there’s some contact with the underbody somewhere that is causing the rattling. Because that could also mean it’s causing all of the noise and vibration in the cabin.
The weird thing is that the rattling is intermittent.
