On the topic of Sirius XM. I’ve never paid more then $5 a month or so per vehicle. It’s a great deal and offers a lot at that price point. You just have to call and negotiate every 6 months or so.

My Mazda3 GT which was $1000 less, had a 9 speaker Bose with AudioPilot2. Beats the sh*t out of the Civic's NoName brand system.

I did add a 1500w mono amp, 12" Hertz in a sealed box, turned gain down, dialed up the frequency to fill in what's missing. Sounds better now, but begs to have all speakers replaced.

Source material matters too. If you’re listening to the Free tier on Spotify, that will definitely affect how it sounds vs the Extreme Quality stream. Also, you can always download high quality source and see how it sounds.


In my case what I do is download my Spotify playlist on Extreme Quality. I have no complaints.
