I just recently got rid of my EM1. It has a new life as an Enduro racer.

I know, right

Crazy thing is if I put my familyā€™s Hondaā€™s on that list it would be another 25 plus cars.

Love my Hondaā€™s
I'm probably one of they're least preferred customers, lol. I've only had the ITR, a junker 1st-gen Integra as a stop-gap until I got back on my feet when I was young, and the CTR. I would have bought an S2000 back in the day, but me being me, I only shopped around for the CR back when they were new. They were sitting around at a few dealerships but no one was willing to deal enough to put it in my price range at the time. In retrospect, I should have just bought a regular one 'cause the CR was the least daily-able car Honda ever made in the US.

Toyota corolla sd 1996. - first and onā€™y car bought used. Put 30000km in one year and sold it almost the same price I paid

Ford focus 2000- i know... recall every oil change... but fun to drive and practical

Nissan ser spec v 2003- blown 2 engine, the paint peeling like crazy, torque steer and ordinary handling

Acura RSX type S 2005- great car, i miss it a lot. So much memories with that car, so exciting to drive!

Acura TL type S 2008- great too but i felt that it was too big, too mature for me at that time

VW GTI 2010- the real GTIs were back, great car, fun and quite reliable

Nissan murano 2012- kids are coming! Still own the car. Love the sound and reliable so far

Honda civic SI 2014 - i thought i would find the excitement of my RSX, no but good car, reliable, possible to rev it to 7000 rpm

Honda civic SI 2017.- best handling car owned so far. Engine too mature but deliver great fuel economy and good midrabge power. I know its not an R

Never lost that much. I worked and been shopping at the same dealership since I was 18. So they take care of me and my family.

Remember Iā€™m married so Iā€™ve at least 2 cars since 2002.

Honda's hold their value very well. Sometimes I get lucky and get dealer cash so more than a dozen times Iā€™ve got my cars below invoice. I even got my 2008 Mugen below invoice.

I am very Brand loyal

I tend to keep my cars longer than most, so my list, at 51 years old is not that long. But as I get older I seem to hang on to them even longer as I do not need to sell them to finance the next purchase.

74 Vega GT- gone
77 Renault 5 le car- gone
1988 Crx Si ( bought new- parted out in 2003 with 280,000km)- far far gone( sad...)
1987 CRX si Race car- gone
1989 Accord SEi- bridge between 2 cars- beat dead and gone
1998 Integra Type R bought in 2001- still have- 350,000km +( never selling, ever)
2010 Evo X- still have 180,000km- dedicated track day car ( for sale)
2000 Civic Si Race car- 10 years of races- still going strong
2004 GT3 do everything car- need to drive more often ( never selling)
2015 Micra Cup race car- 3 more year added to the series so I ain't selling.... for now
2001 s2000- track bitch- future restoration project- 170,000km
1999 E36 M3- track car, street driven newly acquired- most fun car- brand new at 90,000miles
2002 Ep3 Civic SiR- clean clean clean- how could I say no? 256,000km current winter daily
2017 Civic type R- no- it's not going to become a track car.... well not yet.....

yeah , I have no kids.

I'm not a Type R owner, but I'll post anyway. 59 YO. Vehicle history in fleet entry order:

1978 Ford Fiesta Sport (4MT only) (103,000 mi. est, 13.2 yrs service)
1986 Acura Integra LS (4MT) (28,000 mi. est, 1.8 yrs service)
1986 Isuzu Trooper II LS (4MT) (96,565 mi. act, 14.4 yrs service)
1988 Honda Accord Lxi (4MT) (30,000 mi. est, 3.2 yrs service)
1992 Acura Vigor GS (5MT) (114,673 mi. act, 12.7 yrs service)
1992 Honda Civic Si (5MT only) (36,782 mi. act, 3.4 yrs service)
1995 Acura Integra GS-R (5MT) (35,650 mi. act, 3.2 yrs service)
1999 Mercedes-Benz SLK230 (5MT) (44,609 mi. act, 10.5 yrs service)
2000 Honda CR-V SE (4AT only) (48,280 mi. act, 6.7 yrs service)
2004 Acura TL EL (4AT) (57,525 mi. act, 7.8 yrs service)
2007 Honda CR-V EX-L N (4AT only) (66,188 mi. act, 11.2 yrs service and counting)
2009 BMW 135i (6AT) (20,953 mi. act, 5.2 yrs service)
2012 Ford Focus Titanium (6DCT-AT only) (18,299 mi. act, 2.9 yrs service)
2016 Honda Civic Touring (CVT-AT only) (9,748 mi. act, 1.9 yrs service and counting)

All were bought new. The worst car of the lot was, no doubt, the 2012 Focus. 2012 was a dark year for good Honda/Acuras, but, after owning the Focus, it wasn't THAT bad. The one I miss the most today is probably the 135i or the SLK230. I missed both the Integras greatly at the time. First one got totaled. Second one ran away from home and only came back after all its expensive parts went missing--so it ended up totaled too. The Accord was the least troublesome of the lot. I think the only warranty claim we ever had on it was for a piece of torn weatherstripping.

We have a 2018 CR-V Touring AWD (Basque Red Pearl II) on order to replace the 3rd gen. Who knows when it will get built and wander its way out here?
