This should ensure that the fender well material does not rip on the sharp edges of the bracket. I went with a neoprene washer backed by a fiber washer. Nothing to rust.

I did drill and mount the brackets but I just pulled the wheel well carpet out and tucked it back in behind the bracket which gets covered up by the splash guard anyways. I didn't see any reason to cut into the wheel well and I honestly think it's more secure then before and looks great

I want to know why Honda decided to use this carpet like wheel well material that's a magnet for all debris. Never thought I would have to spend time vacuuming out my wheel wells LOL

I have heard that, since it is more flexible, it may last longer and take more abuse than the previously used hard plastic wheel well material. I guess only time will tell. I think it's on all new Honda vehicles. It's on my wife's HR-V.

These were pretty easy to install but I did not drill any holes for the rear ones. I'll try to get some better pics.

Thanks but I haven’t used any paint protection. Just a regular car wash.

An install tip or I just drank too much lol. So, is it just me or has anybody else experienced this? If I read the install correctly for the front guards it shows to reuse the top push pin and shoot a screw through it. It didn’t hold for beans so I found an alternative.
GM Push pins from Advance Auto #461230A work perfectly with no screw needed.

When i ordered mine, they said it will not fit on a 2017 sports touring. Only on a 2018 models of sports... is this true anyone??? Thanks!!!

They dont have a option for shipping to Canada unfortunately.

However has updated their shipping for Canadians, you can now pick the cheapest shipping which is International Economy - 52.28 CAD. Takes about 1 month time.
Gonna grab it! since we still cant get these damn parts in Canada.
