What do you all think of the stock headlights on the Touring model? I have driven numerous vehicles, with a bunch of different stock headlights but after owning my baby for a month, I have to say the LED headlights are awesome! I use to drive my parents S2000 a bunch and it had stock HID'S, which i thought were awesome but I believe the LED'S are way better. A nice wide beam and distanced beam, without the "driving in a tunnel" effect from HID projectors. What is all of your opinions???

I've never owned a car with LED headlights but honestly, I love them. They look so classy and sophisticated. I feel like I'm driving a very expensive luxury car. I can't tell you how many heads I see turning full around to gawk at the car.

The visibility at night is excellent. I grin like a kid at Christmas when I see the DRLs or turn signal on.

Yeah deffiently. This car in so many ways makes you smile like a "kid at Christmas"! The headlights are totally worth the premium over an EX-l any day! :headbang:

The new headlights make the car man! they look fantastic and if they are anything like my ILX LED's then they are also much much nicer to drive with at night, the ability to put light all over the road with angled led beams to make one continuous beam pattern covers the whole road and then some. LED is the future of headlights and perhaps in several years those cool Lazer lights BMW is using lol

I'm loving the Civic Touring headlights. The only thing is that they are so bright that they make the fog lights look very dim and yellow. I'm thinking of getting them replaced with LED's. The Accord Touring looks awesome, the entire lighting system is LED.

Note that there is a reason fog lights have a yellowish (~3000K) default color temperature. This range of temp is best for penetrating fog, rain, and snow with the least glare. So while putting ~5000K+ lamps in them might look better and match your mains better, you'll be compromising the purpose of the fog lights to some extent. Additionally, the higher the color temperature (more blue), the lower the light output, so you'd need a higher wattage lamp to equal the lumen output of the yellow fog lights, if you get something bluer/whiter.

Yes, I know the physics of it. But I only need that type of penetrating lighting a few times a year, and you can easily compensate by adjusting your driving to match the conditions. I'd rather have a good looking system 365 days a year. Or at least have less of a difference in the colour. High end vehicles have 100% matching LED lighting systems. I suspect that future models of the Civic Touring will also have all LED's.

Thank you for saying this. I've been waiting for someone to do so. I'm leaving mine default. They are the color they are for a reason, and since in many places in the US it's not legal to drive with fog lights on in good weather, why do people care? You shouldn't have them on 365 days a year anyway. The only times you should have them on is the time you need them to be yellowish in order to work correctly.

But that's just me.

The leds were the main reason I went with the touring. Makes the car look amazing at night.

Are you driving with the fog lights on or off?
I mostly drive with the fog lights off. Only when I need them I put them on. I'm not crazy about how they look but they are a yellowish tint for a reason as others have stated so I'm leaving them alone.

Thank you for not being that guy/gal that drives around with fog lights on for literally no reason. Trucks and SUV have a tendency to do this at a disproportionate rate, and it's killer on my eyes.

Honestly, though, I'd just be happy if people used their blinkers and stopped tailgating me. The Minnesota in me can't handle this crap in Wisconsin. No where else have I met drivers so horrifically terrifying.

Anyone get flashed by an oncoming vehicle? I'm assuming they think I have my high beams on (which I don't). Never been in front of another Touring coming towards me, so I can't really gauge if it's that bright to oncoming traffic.

They're bright. I haven't been in front of a Touring, but walking away from the car and looking back at it (don't lie, you all do it) they are extremely bright. No one has flashed me yet - though people flashed me constantly with my Silverstar Ultras in my 2013 Si.

I have not (yet) been flashed - by other motorists or their headlights.
