Looking at the 2016 (probably later) Civics seriously and one thing that concerns me is parking.
This would be my daily driver and every day I park it in a hotel parking garage which is next to my work (we're a small company). The problem is that its a very tight parking deck and so often there will be an oversized F-250 or whatever parked on the other side and I'm always terrified of hitting somebody. At least when I'm not driving my Miata which is very short.
The Civic is now the exact same length as a 2002 Accord.
What is it like to park the new Civic in tight spots? I'm sure the backup camera is a godsend (I wouldn't buy a vehicle without one). I hope its calibrated properly? Does it give you any notifications if you're getting close while backing up? Can you use the LaneWatch technology while parking?
I'm almost considering the Coupe down the line, but I really hate that the sacrifice that you make with the back seat. I have two kids that will be getting taller and taller and want it to be as comfortable as possible and an option to take during weekends as well.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
