Got a 17 civic si sedan 9 months old 8,000 miles. South west florida 70 degree weather only mod is cold air intake and led lows and fogs that have been on for 7 months with no issues. The last week my car has taken about 4 to 5 seconds to start almost as if the battery was dead. It has only happened twice in the last 5 days. Has anyone had issues like this ? Thanks for any advice
Had this happening a few days after I installed my Sirimoto Strut Bar. The Bar and piping are touching and I think it hinders the initial flex of the engine when started. Idk, it may be something else like a battery issue but I’m not too sure of this since the car is new.

I have a Canadian LX and I also have a slow crank when it's cold, tested my battery and it's already not good. It is covered by the 3 years bumper bumper warranty. ( Will go fix it on monday )

You may need a tune with the Injen intake to make sure the ECU is measuring the airflow correctly. They have been all over the place from what I have heard from others.
I did not get my tuner until after the intake, so have no idea what 'stock' AFR should be, I get a consistent 14.2-14.9 w/my Injen. One PRL user on here is closer to 10.5/11. Anyone happen to be running stock intake w/Ktuner?

How are your fuel trims? That is a better indicator.

Thanks for the advice @360glitch , those definitely paint a more clear picture than the AFR. As expected, and you correctly indicated, it's all over the place. Looked over a few logs, average LTFT is about -7.5; STFT high as +2 as low as -20.

Might be too late but I'd recommend putting the stock intake back on and resetting the ECU (which resets the fuel trims) to see if that takes care of it for you.

Moisture on the MAF. And it started right up with no issues. They recommend to remove the cai as water can get in that wheel well. The tech said everyone thinks that that wheel well is sealed but in light rain that filter will get wet and maybe not suck water into the engine but damage the maf.

Same here. In Orlando.
Had once maybe 3 sec start. Today has a good 5+ sec. Definitely not normal, feels very long.
Hopefully it's like someone said is a weird quirk of this car. (I doubt it)
Only mod is Ktuner and VitTuned stage 1.
