On another note: Does anyone have any suggestions for a new head unit? I really dislike the lag the stock HU has... I need to rip apart an 18 Accord and see if I can make it fit into the space lol... that radio is leagues beyond the Civic's HU...

What do you guys think of the STi Type RA? Is it worth the extra $15k over a CTR?

310hp. 500 units made. BUT, its $50k LOL

Will it be quicker?
When you say quicker do you mean 0-60 because it's likely going to be quicker 0-60 because of AWD. It's still powered by the ancient EJ257 engine apparently with upgraded pistons so it's not likely to be much quicker than the current STI which isn't that quick with the 19" wheels (2018's are putting up pretty mediocre times compared to 2015-2017). It's got an big, ricey spoiler that would make even a CTR owner blush. For a few thousand more you may as well get an M2 if you were entertaining spending $50k. It's a car for a Subaru fanboy because anyone else would be crazy to spend that kind of money on an STI.

Apparently, there's Badge #303 in CW at Spreen Honda. I know of no other details as I saw it on Instagram with only the words "serious offers only."
This info maybe misplaced so please forgive if that's the case...Regarding Spreen Honda, I called their service department today to learn their qoute to install Hondata flashpro...Its $799. When I told them their cost was more than a person would pay to buy a unit their reply was "we include 3 free updates" (to Hondata' s program)....Ummm, thanks but NO thanks! I was disappointed because I was hoping to pay around $325 for a onetime +6 basemasp on my 2016 Civic 1.5T... Not get ripped off!

You're good. I'm...hot & cold with Spreen. Their service department is decently priced and their team is actually mostly friendly (for California standards, I guess). However, their sales is atrocious. They mark up everything through the roof and add as much dealer-installed options as possible on their cars.

Any CTR owners scraped the underside of their car yet? Went to go get my tires filled with nitrogen air at a tire shop, there was a dip at the entrance, went at an angle very slowly and still scraped the bottom of my CTR :(

Yep, once so far. Its was exiting Whole Foods parking lot getting on the main rd and knew something could happen. Went slow but still did a bad scrape of the front deflector. Ever since I've made sure to go at crazy angles to avoid it. Cant imagine what people with exotics deal with.

I also scraped leaving a parking structure. Two small scrapes at the very tips of the front spoiler. Cant really see them though unless you look under.

Good thing is, you can get a replacement from Honda front spoiler if it really bothers you for under $300.

It was their loss...I bought the Flash Pro on Ebay for under 500 USD. I would have paid 350 for a one time flash but now I have the RACE version and super glad I bought it. The Flash Pro is definitely worth it - even if you buy it full price. The immediate power gains make it allot of fun to drive even though my gas mileage dipped 10 MPG less. Well worth it!
