The two dealers by me (Kuni & Schomp) still say In-Transit for the cars they are supposed to be receiving.

I'm on the waiting list at Schomp and I'm fine waiting. Payments end on my Xterra in June, and this will take its place. I don't want more than one car payment at a time, but I'll gladly own 4 cars! :thumbsup: Thanks though!

no problem,
by the time june rolls around you should just wait until 2019 CTR since it will change alot from what people are saying

What color might that be? I’d be willing to drive up there as I have family in Colorado.

I know we have been over this many times, but I haven't seen any hard evidence to suggest that 2019 will be anything more than a facelift and likely some new trim levels. Frankly, I'm not interested in any other trims anyway unless it's a lightweight model.

I've been doing this long enough to know that chasing the next greatest model coming out is a losing battle. There is always something newer, faster, better, coming out. Trying to chase that is folly. I like the FK8 Type-R as it is today. I want one, and I'm willing to wait until next year to get it because I'm going to keep it for a long time.

So have we just about seen the last wave of CTRs for this year? Has anyone heard when the 1st wave of 2018 should start hitting U.S. dealerships?

The newest deliveries seem to be cars that were produced in April that for some reason were held back (does anyone know why)? Does anyone have a CTR that was produced in August yet?

Rev matching functions differently in sport and comfort modes. If your speed is too low it won't rev match to certain gears depending on the situation, while skipping gears (6->4, 5->3, 4->2) will rev match.

Example 1: 3 -> 2 won't rev match if you are below 25mph
Example 2: 4 -> 3 won't rev match if you are below ~35 mph
Example 3: 4 -> 2 will always rev match even if you are under 25mph

In +R it will always rev match.
I just got my CTR yesterday and this is my first car to have auto rev match. I’m trying to understand how to use it correctly. For instance when I am coming to a toll plaza I slow down from 5th or 6th gear and put the clutch in and put it in 2nd so when the gate goes up I can go. Problem is when I go to 2nd the rpm’s rev too high. What should I do to keep this from happening?
I am in sport mode. Thanks for any suggestions

Just don't go from 6th or 5th into 2nd, downshift into 3rd or even 4th to keep rpm's lower.

Or keep it in neutral. That’s what I do, I feel it’s better for the car. But that’s just me.
