Rev match is related if you double clutch. Shift to neutral, release the clutch, rev match, step on the clutch and then shift to 4th gear. In that case revmatch will help. But the issue seems to be in the clutch/slave cylinder. It is slowing down your clutch actions in both directions.
Sorry, I am completely confused. Generally, if you want to rev match while downshifting, you rev with your foot down on the clutch (why 2 steps? 2 clutch engagements?) Besides, FK8 has automatic rev matching...

With double clutching you are helping the synchromeshes. Instead of letting the synchromeshes to do their job, you do that by yourself by the combination rev matching and double clutching. You are matching input shaft rpm with output shaft rpm. Try this if you are experiencing lockouts.
It also helps when you are trying to shift to 1st gear but the car is still rolling slowly.

Now I get it, still sounds strange in a sporty car though

Tacthecat, why do you ask about rev match? Do you think it might be related?
It isn't clear if "Acurately" is speaking in general or about a CTR specifically. As he's/she's speaking of 5th to 4th downshift lockout I was wondering if the car is a CTR and/or if rev match was involved

Yeah I'm talking about my CTR and I drive with rev match set to "ON". When the Lockout happens the revs do go up to match 4th gear, but it feels like the shifter doesn't go all the way into 4th, I never let the clutch out when that happens, just wiggle it in neutral and then stick it back into 4th normally, most of the time I have to manually rev match it again since the revs drop by then, or shift into 3rd.

Yes it does feel like a problem and definitely not sporty for this type of car.

If you have ever had a gearbox issue, please send me a little video clip, whether it's of the issue itself or you just telling me what happened with your transmission. Thanks!

update again just had my meeting with my local Honda and there rep and no 2nd gear grind but he felt the 2nd gear hard to shift and said "thats normal" he also felt the 4th to 5th lock out and said "it was his fault for lazy shifting" Fu**king fag damn lier so i told him to get the hell out and ill see them this friday when the NCDS of USA shows up. Thanks to all of you i have screen shot all of your comments and will be showing them all the issues and hopefully ill have some good news on friday for y'all thanks again.

NorthernEX-T, do you think that overheating clutch fluid is also responsible for lockouts?
It’s an idea I saw in the comments of the grind video SavageGeese made of my car. Savage is skeptical but he said:

“Yeah I saw that, although I find that hard to believe. If it was that easy to do problem would get progressively worse and pedal feel would be vastly different. You could easily rule that out with high temp DOT4. And bleed slave.”

Makes sense to me, you would think it would get worse and be able to feel it in the pedal..

Does the clutch fluid get near the downpipe? In the FK2 (LHD) it does not get near it. The clutch line stays left near the chassis and then makes a right turn to the gearbox.

On polish civic forum the main hipothesis for 1 -2 grinds is that the clutch fluid is being overheated by the downpipe. Mainly in FK2 but the problem looks the same in FK8.

There is one dealership that changes fluid for Motul RBF 660 and mounts some panel that prevents the fluid from overheating. But this is in grinding context (not lockouts)...

It could be the cat converter. That thing sits close to the clutch slave cyl.
