So I just bought this baby two days ago. I have my flat black 18" rims off of my Accord coupe, which i traded in. I bought a Aegean Blue Touring and I'm slightly hesitant about what it will look like once I get them installed this Spring. (Michigander here, so maybe April...lol) Please share thoughts or personal rim upgrades. Need some advice on this..:what:

Should look sexy, in my opinion.

Aegean blue is actually a really nice color. Probably my favorite after black.
Yea. Aegean blue looks good, granted all new civics look good regardless of the color.. I wasn't sure how the flat black would look with all the chrome and shiny blue but I think I will have chrome lug nuts installed to help contrast with the factory and some tint of course  Pics coming soon!!

There's lots of chrome especially for the black. I plastidipped my Honda emblems so it's a bit of a nice contrast from the rest of the chrome on the front end.

Oh nice. I have always wanted to try plastdipping parts but never have. How hard is it? Is it something you can do on your own or is it easier to have someone do it for you?

It's actually pretty easy. You really only need the plastidip, blue painters tape, and plenty of newspaper to cover the outer areas. Even if you hit spots that weren't intended to be hit, you can peel it off pretty easily with a toothpick. My biggest warning is to not do it when it's windy, or if there's even a slight wind. I had overspray on areas that were really far away from my intended spot. If you get really light overspray like only specks of it on a wide area, just try to rub it off with a dry or damp towel.

Sounds easy enough. No removal of the pieces you want to dip needed?

Nope you can spray it right on. There's some good YouTube videos out there that are really thorough. It seems scary at first but once you do it you'll see how easy it is to do.
Ok cool. I was always wondering. Might have to try it one weekend. Just don't want to mess her up if it is a fail!

Yeah man if you mess up you can just peel it right off or clean it off. Just make sure you see some videos on how to do it,[/QUOTE
Advice taken. I will be surprised if this goes well but I will give her a try. I will post pictures, even if it doesnt work out, for people to "learn from" lol
