I was at PRI with my CTR in a booth. I spoke with every ECU manufacturer there, including Hondata. There is Motec coming out first of the year at $5500. Plug and play. Hondata is still working on getting in but no real news yet. Link ECU has a 1.5T coming in to start with and will work on the 2.0T after that, but they will be doing a race system without factory dash integration most likely.we havent hear something from them...so dont bet on this
I'd love to see what they can get out of these with just a tune as the 25% smaller 1.5T in the Si/EX-T is able to make 245whp and 320wtq with tune/downpipe.
With 5K. I can put my car on 12s with a decent trap speed and still have cash left for a nice vacation in a cruise ship with the wife.Looks amazing, but 4500 bucks is out of most people's price range.

Absurd. This is why I never got into the TypeR bandwagon.
The accord 2.0T will probably suffer from the same fate.
Seems that more years are needed and probably nothing feasible will come out for the enthusiasts.
Is hard to accept that the 1.5T is a better turning platform in the long run.
Really we just need to calm down and take a breath. I am excited and want some tuning options also for a better price but it may take a little time. Let’s remember the car hasn’t even been out for a year. We can’t rush good R&D.
This car still is amazing without any tuning options. Enjoy it and hopefully soon we will have a cheaper option for tuning.
hahaha... I have the same problem. I get aggravated that things aren't out yet also then I have to calm myself and remember how long it took for the CTR to arrive to the US. The more R&D the better the product and a lot of shops are just now getting their CTR.I agree with everything you said. But being totally honest (and self aware), patience is NOT my strong suit.
