what hes saying is that he wants the audio track to be displayed in the information display where the odometer is at. Its not possible since theres no option for it

No forget about the information display (speedometer + mpg). In display audio (radio/navigation unit), you can display your mpg for each drive, and also you can store history for Trip A. For example, mpg on the last 3 trips to the gas station. I think you're supposed to reset Trip A for each trip to the gas station so you get the overall mpg per fillup. I don't know how to do the same thing with trip B in display audio. When I bought my civic, I planned to never reset Trip A for 2 reasons, one so I could see the decimal point for fractional miles for really accurate mpg per fillup, the second is that I want to track mpg for the total lifetime of the vehicle. So I started reseting trip B instead for fillups, I can't figure out how to show Trip B's history in the display audio.

As a side memo, for those wondering about all the mpg in the car, there are 4:
1) Instantaneous mpg showed by the bar under the spedometer
2) Trip A and B under the spedometer, for tracking over large distances
3) Display audio mpg: This will track the mpg for each drive and will update every 20 seconds or so.
4) Display audio for Trip A: Same as #1 but display audio can keep track of the last 3 stored entries.

Trip A is made for fillups - you can set an option to have it automatically reset itself with every fill up - you can then look in your history for the previous three fillups and if you know how many gallons you put in, you can calculate the mileage (and see that the true mileage is lower than the car's reporting)

how do you set the option so Trip A will automatically reset itself with every fill up? thanks in advance

It's in the "settings" menu. With the car stopped and in "Park", push the "i" information button on the left side of the steering wheel (below the volume control), go to the settings menu, select the meter submenu, and look for the "Trip A Reset" and "Trip B Reset" menus. Trip A and B both have the option of having them reset each time you turn the ignition off, each time you fill the tank, or manually reset. At least that's the way it is on my basic LX. I've got trip A resetting each time I turn the ignition off, and trip B resetting with each fill up.

That "settings" menu is definitely worth playing with when you get a chance.
