If it’s not actually snowing you’ll be fine if you drive carefully. The horror stories on here about the stock tires’ performance below 45° are exaggerated.

I’m driving to trade in my Fit. I’ll have a talk with the dealer before I get there.

You worried too much bro. Drive the car for 10 mins the tires will be fully warmed up and you can hear it sucks up all the little rocks.

I got lucky with mine. The driver told me 2 days after he took my car from the dealership in Wisconsin it started snowing. My car never seen snow lol.

I pulled my deposit from my dealer bc they had no idea when they would be able to order and 18 and I am super impatient so I picked up a 2017 Black Crystal Pearl this past Saturday. It's about to turn to cold to drive her but I wasn't willing to wait for a random color 2018 that had no promised deliver date or even allocation yet.

Hey everyone I just got an update from my dealer yesterday that a VIN number has been assigned for the 2018 CW Type R I have a deposit on. I also noticed it shows up as in transit on Honda's inventory search. This all happened the same day DRIVE GREEN HIGHWAY docked in Charleston. Do you guys think this is just a coincidence or do you think the car arrived at port yesterday? My salesman seems to think the car is still in pre-production and has given me an ETA of 12/31 thru 1/4...

If it's on Honda's inventory search, it's probably at the port or closer. That being said, I and a few other members had our babies sit at the port for a couple weeks before even getting on a truck, so the ETA sounds about right. It's likely at port and the dealership would be able to tell you that from the Honda Information Network. That system can be delayed by a couple days though, from what I've read.
