@Original Post,
heyas, I too did a ton of research this Summer regarding the civic sedan, si, hatchback sport, along with the Elantra Sport. I love the interior leather and exterior elegant design but along the way I came across the new Hyundai i30 Fastback. No not the hatchback version, but a completely new design out in Europe. Rumor has it that it will be the next Elantra re-design for 2019 state side or it will be another version of the i30 series.
If you think the Elantra Sport rear was elegant yet boring, this spices it up a bit and has everything the elantra sport has (leather, electronics, navigation, manual transmission, power seats, safety features etc) but with a beautiful rear sloping design. Can you believe they say that this fastback is competing with the Audi Sportback? Things have really changed with Hyundai. This is probably the reason why I've been holding off for either this or the upcoming 2019 Civic refresh. One can only hope
Here is a link with a video imbedded in it if anyones interested.
