Nicely done!And with the mat:
estore.honda.com does seem to have the actual full-kit available though (image below). Does anyone know if this contains everything I will need? It matches the name and part number from hondapartsnetwork.com. If I'm able to simply have this shipped to my local dealer, rather than piecing all the separate parts together on hondapartsnetwork, that would definitely seem the route to go.Dear ClearKeys,
Thank you for allowing Honda Automobile Customer Service the opportunity of responding to your message. American Honda Motor Co., Inc. does not sell an accessory spare tire kit for this vehicle. Available accessories for the vehicle can be viewed at www.estore.honda.com.
We welcome you to contact us with any additional comments or questions. You are also able to reach us by calling #800-999-1009, option #7 or on Twitter @HondaCustSvc.
Kind regards,
Honda Automobile Customer Service
Yeah I've tried going that very route a couple months ago, -- the local dealer ended up telling me that this item was unavailable/they couldn't get it, and that was that. Honda really messed this one up.estore.honda.com does seem to have the actual full-kit available though (image below). Does anyone know if this contains everything I will need? Thanks for the info. That is really lame. It doesn't come with a spare, it's dumb but OK. The fact you can't even decide to buy one after the fact is frustrating, considering the fact just a few miles north, the cars come equipped with the spare I'm willing to buy as standard. I've changed and repaired my fair share of tires, there is no way I could ruin a potentially good tire with fix-a-flat or risk being in the middle of nowhere with a blowout. I guess I'll try to piece the parts together.Yeah I've tried going that very route a couple months ago, -- the local dealer ended up telling me that this item was unavailable/they couldn't get it, and that was that. Then get the tire separately
I got the tire from tirerack.com, and the kit should be (fingers crossed) coming in early June from hondapartsonline.net
One is listed as fitting the coupe, and the other -- sedan. They look a bit different, too:So if I order 06421-TBJ-A10ZA (kit) and 42751-KEN010 (spare). Are you guys saying it's not going to fit in the car?
