Anyone have any tips or tricks for running the amp power wire?
I ran my power wire through the cable release hole. It took a little work getting it through the rubber seal but it's doable. After that just run it along the frame under the door trim.

Did you pull the trim by the seatbelt bolt for the front seat or can u just push the wire through?

Pulled 3 pieces. Front door trim, lower seatbelt cover, and backseat trim. They just snap off and back on again. Just do it carefully so you don't brake any of the flips. You can probably just tuck them under if you want but I wanted to make sure they were in there good. I posted some pictures of the sections earlier in the thread. If you can't find them let me know.

Last question, what settings do you have on the amp?

I appreciate all the info!

@Stewminator what is the AWG of your power wire? I will probably run my 4 AWG rockford fosgate power wire thru that grommet if it fits. If not I will find another one where it fits. Hopefully all my parts (10 foot bass rockers ground cable, new terminals, Audiocontrol LC2i, Audiocontrol remote bass knob) will be here thursday and friday. On the Weekend I will install my amp and dual subs. :D I'm excited on how this thing sounds....

Nice. Have fun! I used a 10 gauge because my amp is only 300 watt. I'd look at your amps manual online and see what it suggests. You might need to find another place to run the power wire because 4 gauge may be too big.

Everything I have here is parts I have 10 years ago sitting on the basement. I pulled this system out of my Subaru WRX. 4 AWG is enough to power my 460w RMS amp, never had issues with it before. My ground cable is very short (less than 3 feet that's why I ordered a new one). Only other things new are the ones I am waiting for to arrive (10 foot bass rockers ground cable, new terminals, Audiocontrol LC2i, Audiocontrol remote bass knob). This is not a hardcore system, I just want some bass on the CTR without sacrificing my bank account. So I decided to re-use my old set-up. Hopefully this still works after 10 years. Keeping my fingers crossed

I finally installed the PBR amp/PEQ bass knob this weekend. I already had the Punch 8” in factory enclosure. Nice setup for the cost!
Thanks to Stewminator for all the info and help!
