If you find just the plastic painted cover.. It will likely be hollow.. The internal assembly is what attaches to the car.. The cover attaches to the assembly... No assembly = no way to sticking to the car
yeah so how do you attach the assembly to the car. I dont want to drill a hole in my car roof!

False i was able to get it on my car without drilling a hole. I bought the full assembly and with patience gutted out all the components. You will then be left with a hollow plastic cover and the rubber seal that goes on the base. i glued the rubber base to the hollow plastic to make it one piece. Then after that it's up to you on how you want to adhere it to the car.

What kind of glue did you use to get the rubber and the plastic cover to stick together?

Also do you happen to know the measurements for placement?

The back of the fin is 5 cm off the rear glass. We used Gorilla glue to keep the rubber base attached to the antenna.
