Time to switch for the fall/storage/spring tire setup. 245/40/x18 Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 on Enkei GP5 18x9 ET45. Not the greatest look, but sale pricing on both the rims and tires came to only about $1200USD.

Note this combo pokes out quite a bit more than stock because the rims push the tires out about 3/4", and the tires are more square than the OE Conti's. They are out far enough to blast the paint off if I was to drive in all conditions without mud flaps.

And yes, these rims/tires torque steer more than the OE rims/tires.
Look good, lots of clearance for the big brake caliper, and easy to clean with less spokes

Man ...

So sorry to hear about your accident, I hope everyone is alright and you get her fixed up and back on the road quickly.

Very few things piss me off more than people on their phones while they're driving.
Initial insurance estimate is $12,000, keep in mind that they haven't even looked under the hood yet (because its jammed shut!!). They believe that the car does not have frame damage, but we will not know until the car is taken apart. Now its not a whether or not it will drive again, instead its how long will it take to get the parts and who will reimburse me for the lost value of the car (which is thousands in the short term and 10's of thousands in the long run)?

Instead of driving my CTR to work I drove it to the doctor's office to get medication for my nasty cold! Couldn't stop staring at in the parking lot for fear of minivans loaded up with a bunch of kids parking next to me. Paranoid I am....
