WATCH OUT: Spreen Honda is STILL looking to get $20k+ ADM...and apparently someboby keeps giving it to them

I went over and looked at the type R today. Not impressed with the interior at all. Red and black velvet looked tacky and seats were not that comfortable. The car is worth the MSRP and not a penny more. Rather than pay $47,000 for a freaking honda, I would rather spend another $10K and get the 718 Boxster. Much more car that a glorified Honda Civic; quicke, better performance, and better looking with a soft top. Or buy a used 2014 Boxster for under $40K with an extended warranty; better performance; a soft top, and won't lose its value like a new Civic.
Well. Poway emailed me for one MSRP +5000 add-on. Not 38 OTD but it's much closer now.

They have to make up the loss when I bought a Pilot Elite for close to $2300 below MSRP OTD on Wednesday (apparently CW #303 was there at the time, didnt see the CBP though)

Team Honda in Baton Rouge has an incoming black one for $36,775. Not too bad but I'm still holding out for MSRP

Don't know if it's true. Anyone care to try it out too ?

I hope just because your camera man Rob, and other car reviewers like Hondapro Jason, Parks Mcgant, roman mica, and other popular car reviewers and you and many others did not just pay msrp of: $34,775 in this case with the CTR when us other non-famous unfortunate people have paid anywhere between $5k to $20K over msrp. I have talked to Sage Marie the PR of AH and some other executives in Honda and they are not happy with the 1100 and some odd Honda dealers price gouging on this Type R. I myself purchased a white one and paid $5625 over the Msrp and I faxed my paperwork over to some high up Honda Executives and I am fortunate that they mailed me bac $5625 over that I paid for the Type R and I tell you this that all this price gouging is going to stop. I can't wait until the day comes when auto dealerships no longer exist and we the customer can directly purchase from the auto manufacturers ourselves. We really appreciate you and the many other auto reviewers out there and if you all happen to get a discount on something you are interested in to buy that you reviewed then that is great however when us customers that are less unfortunate to be a auto reviewer to try out all these nice vehicles then we should also be able to not get gouged either.

These shysters would be laughing all the way to the bank if they sold other Hondas at sticker. I'm not subsidizing all those Hondas sold under sticker. ;)

If it IS true, somebody at Honda is gonna get fired. If they wrote one check, people are gonna expect them to write a LOT of checks. I don't see that happening.

Probably a dealer making up the story so people who refuse to pay ADM will run out to the dealership and pay it thinking Honda will pay them the difference.

If you don't want a Type R then don't buy a Type R. It's that simple. Please, get whatever car your heart desires.

I called this SoCal dealership and they are telling me that they are going to receive a Type R in December. I asked the sales person if the Type R is going to be a 2018 model and he told me no and that it will remain as a 2017 model. I find that very odd that they are going to be receiving a 2017 model since the month of December is pretty much the end of the year.

I wonder how many of the Pro-ADM buyers would be requesting their money back should Honda give money back lol
