You can always ask the installer to dry apply the tint to the window so you can see what it would look like. That's what my guy did. I ended up going 20% all around.

I did 35% and I wouldn't go darker. It gives the tinted look without crossing the line into looking tacky (my opinion)

Plenty of info in the other sections

Another consideration is safety. You may not see properly if you go too dark.

Too bad you are doing it tomorrow because if you have a few more days, you can get the tints (20% and 35%) and check them at night time.

I have 20% on my Civic and have had 35% on a previous vehicle. In my opinion 35% isn’t worth paying for unless you think you are actually going to encounter legal trouble with anything darker.

My car stock had 70% already so whatever tint you get on top is going to be darker

There is supposed to be a sign of %tint on the windows. Where are these markings?

I went with 20% on my hatch. My last Civic had 35%, but I always wished that I had gone a bit darker. The 20% is much darker at night, but I've adjusted. During the first month after having the films installed, it looked darker and I started to wonder if I should have done 35% instead. Once the films cured, it looked better. I'm now really happy with the 20%.

Personally I love the look of dark tints especially on my WOP.

My only suggestion is DON'T go with two tone like 35% fronts, 20% back for example. Playing it safe, I get it but ruins the look IMO. If you're worried just go 35% all around.

As for going dark, my eyesight isn't the greatest I wear prescription glasses but both my daily drivers are 15% all around. I'll admit it took a few nights to get used to. LOL
