What should I buy Civic si or EXT

I don't want to comment too much as I don't know the american models and their features too well.
But it sounds like the Si Sedan is right for you pending the test drive.
You can always add aftermarket leather right away or a little later on.
Just find a recommended installer.

How does this work? They replace the cloth seat, section by section? Or replace the whole seats?

Sorry, I don't know as I have never done it. But a local dealership (previous Toyota vehicle) offered it to me as they have a regular company they deal with to send people to looking for that option.
She showed me a few used vehicles that had had it done, and they looked very good.

Ok. Thanks. At least I now know there are options.
Even if I opt for the leather replacement, I would wait for the stock seat to wear out first.

Si is worth the extra money for the LSD, suspension, and seats alone

I second this. SI's LSD gets you out of the corners so nicely with a big smile. Go for SI.

Finally out of the breaking period and I am really enjoying my SI coupe. I got my SI for 22,100 + ttl so the difference between an ext was negligible for what the si offers. I say play hard ball with the dealer and get a good deal on a great car. It could have been the same power at the ext and the seats, adaptive dampers, and lsd would have made it still a better buy.

I took delivery of my Civic EX-T 6 speed on July 1st. There were not many available in the NY Metro Area at that time. I looked at dealer inventory and saw there were only about 5 dealers who had the EX-T manual. I test drove a EX-T 6 speed in Poughkeepsie NY and purchased the car from in Hempstead, NY.

I love my EX-T 6 speed. I am never at loss for power as this car has it. That being said the Si models looked fantastic and I would love to take one out for a test drive to compare to the model I own. If you are in a position where you can be patient and wait, just test drive both vehicles. Even go a second time to another dealer and test drive again.

Congrats. Lowest price we've seen so far if I'm not mistaken. Have to ask, that includes dealer doc fee and delivery fee? Just want to make sure what people are paying for Si's (the car) and not this OTD stuff.
