Valve stem caps I found in my tool box from a previous life. A little corny!

Can you leave those on the car and find them when you come back? those caps attract too much attention!

This post covers both today and yesterday. I've been having the dreaded headliner rattling near the sunroof in my EX Hatch, so I used some quilt batting I had on hand to stuff between the headliner and the metal frame around the sunroof. You can see more details in THIS THREAD.

But then, after cutting and stuffing the batting, it left some dust in my car, especially along the center console. I used one of those microfiber duster things from Dollar Tree, but surprisingly, the base layer of this duster was made of canvas, and it scratched the very sensitive piano black plate near the shifter! :banghead:

So then, I buffed the plate with some old Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant Dash & Trim Restorer. It also helped alleviate those light scratches that you can see on the matte black plastic to the left of the shifter area. It helped, although there are still some visible swirls if you look at it from a certain angle. Does anyone else have this issue with their piano black shifter area (at least those who have AT, not MT)?

I also had a dash cam lying around, unused, so I am charging it up right now and preparing to use it. For some reason today, every single bozo decided to pull out right in front of me, cut me off, etc.

I picked up wheel locks from the dealer (discounted price, roughly same price I would've paid online plus shipping).

I unfortunately don't have a lug wrench to put them on so I'll need to get one and probably just keep it in the car.

After flashing and testing for the past hour and a half, i decided that the quick adjustments on the ktuner, just are not for me lol. just put it on the 21 psi dual position map, and leave it alone lol

Where did you buy these?
The shop that installed them was an authorized detailer. That's how I actually found the shop. I looked at Morel dealers. I recommend them 100%! Best investment I've made thus far

would you mind posting some pictures of your HID set ups? ballasts locations and wire management.. especially where/how did you hook up positive/negative/ground wires..
Thank you so much!
hon
I had someone do it for me. I was happy with everything, except the ballasts. He just used zip ties to hold them in place. Not sure if he knew my car isn't leased?

Your car should have one in the spare tire area.

You should have a lug wrench in the trunk from the factory.
