Exact tools I used to loosen the steering bolt.

Figuring out how to do it was. I first attempted from the front of the wheel, no go. But then got myself between the wheel and dash and first try it started to come loose very stiff and slow. Aka locktight gumming those threads.
Exact tools I used. Big ass Allen wrench and a piece of steel pipe.

I wouldn't say there's one best place to buy from. Check the Honda parts site and see how the final price compares (after shipping).

I got mine from 1HondaParts.com.

I was finally able to install my steering wheel today, but after assembling it my steering wheel sits misaligned, like pictured below. Does anyone know where I went wrong so I can try fixing this tomorrow?

How difficult was it to do this yourself?

I think when you tightened the wheel bolt, on the final turn, the wheel wasn't straight....undo everything, and ensure that the wheel is true and straight on the last righty tighty.

What about the misalignment of wheel...any tips or learnings?
Haven't had a chance to tackle the problem yet. Most likely tomorrow.

Looks like an excellent write up but I don't have the tools and it makes me scared lol. Wanna come do mine? :)
You really need only basic tools. A impact gun would be ideal but if you get a nice steel or pvc pipe you can use it as a breaker bar. I just used a long pvc pipe that I put under my leg and yanked the wheel the opposite direction to loosen the bolt. Would be easier with two people.
