Why the cord in the glove box? I'm a bit confused on vid3. I ported my USB to the stock port with a 1TB SSD drive with all my music on it. Is that what you're doing essentially?
LMK if you need to know what adapter you need to use stock port, it's a good deal! =)

Are you new to technology? I bought it over 5 years ago... I think you're unfamiliar with the term SSD and are thinking of a USB flash drive. Which to be fair also exists in 1TB...
@STiTCH87 Mistyped. Yeah Im familiar with SSDs...was early in my day so brain wasn't fully on yet...so you have an external SSD. Man 1tb is a ton of music. Just have it under the center console by the USB outlet?

Yes please let me know what adapter is needed! A link would be awesome. As far as the SSD goes I think it's a brilliant idea especially if you download all your content. I personally prefer streaming all my music through Spotify :)

Thanks for that.
No problem. I know it was a super quick vid I made and not well organized but hope it helped. Still trying to figure out how to get all camera angles to work when backup camera is engaged. I don't think anyone has had any luck with that.

Yep, 1TB of music on a drive stored there. Gotta do SSD though else it can skip and take long to load. Keep in mind a good portion of my music is FLAC file format which takes up more space than mp3. I do have over 300 albums in there though. I listen to a LOT of music Lmao. I have Pandora and Spotify too though so there's always something to listen to.

It's called AX-TOYUSB. EBay has them for about $7

Used this same cable. Worked perfectly.

Yeah FLAC definitely takes more space. I can tell a difference on my headset at home...not sure I'd be able to tell the difference between mp3 vs flac in my car though.

With stock speakers you can tell if you're really listening and paying attention. With aftermarket speakers it it's an absolute night and day difference.

Think I'ma pull the trigger on the Sony unit this weekend. The stock unit is pissing me off and the runs back and forth to Cali could have used maps on the screen instead of the phone.
