For sure you can get the M2 for a lot less. Long Beach Blue, rear wheel drive, 6 Speed MT, 365 HP, 0-60 4.5sec. 4 years/50K miles warranty, 3 years free maintenance. Intoxicating Exhaust noise and a long list of M2 features for $52,500 MSRP. I just bought one and it puts a smile on my face every time I step on the gas paddle. And the BMW dealer treats me like I own the place. Totally different treatments from the nasty Honda dealers that I've visited. I will not be visiting Honda dealers until the CTR variants come out selling for MSRP.I just got a quote for $62,172 plus fees from a dealer up in Seattle area. I actually had to read that twice, what were they thinking? I don't understand the logic behind that. I can buy shelby gt350, M2, for less or base Cayman S for a little more.
Sorry to go off-topic but this post is funny coincidence... ^^^This is what I'm replacing the CTR with. Same color too. Not yet but I definitely want it. So far only PPF to protect stone chips. I am quite impressed with this M2 with just factory stocks. It is really an "Affordable" Ultimate Drama Driving Machine. I also plan to take the BMW performance driving lesson to get the maximum fun out of this M2.Sorry to go off-topic but this post is funny coincidence... ^^^This is what I'm replacing the CTR with. lol that's CTR cost more than a brand new CTR with a markup and most dealers are asking around 7k adm. It would definitely be a joke if someone paid that much for a used CTR. Used CTR's should sell well below sticker price. This car is definitely not a collectors car lol. It's just another passenger car for the daily run.
